Twenty years ago the computer gurus promised us paperless offices. It hasn’t happened—and never will. Instead, we are surrounded with more paper than ever. More need to recycle paper in all its forms. And that means more need for what only Donco can do.

A Tradition of Innovation.

In 1959, Robert Mendelson acquired this company and quickly expanded its scope. But the tradition reaches much farther back – to his father and grandfather, who helped develop the first paper mill process for de-inking newsprint. The family supplied this innovative recycled product to the Chicago Daily News. The success of Donco led to other acquisitions that expanded the company’s ability to serve its growing markets.
