Problem: A paper mill is a complex and unpredictable beast. Breakdowns will happen—usually at the worst possible time—as one OPM customer recently found out. The plant manager had often called on OPM to meet product shortfalls—but never at 4 am on a weekend.

Solution: All Ohio Pulp Mills customers have the home phone number of our mill manager. One call can expedite an immediate shipment. And our customers know that call is welcome 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This particular customer was a little reluctant to call at what was the ultimate non-business hour. But he did—and OPM delivered. The customer considered this amazing. OPM just considered it business as usual.
